my toaster has a dial on the front of it that controls how well-cooked the toast will be when it comes out. The dial is from 1-7 and you can have any decimal point in between.

I hate burnt toast. I like barely-browned crispy toast.
So I set my toaster on level 2.

It still comes out burnt. Every time.
WTF does 7 look like?!
