So I knew that I was heading to Banff over the weekend with J to celebrate our one year. He told me we were going to go to the Grizzly House and maybe see a movie after. We got there in the afternoon and J pulled into a hotel to go to the bathroom. The next thing I knew we were driving into their underground parking lot and on our way to a room for the two of us to share for the night.
I got to open my present and you will never guess what J got me. (Besides the ENTIRE weekend) he gave me a history book, a wine making kit, and he put $1000 into our Russia-trip savings account, which he opened just for me. I guess now I have to go out and learn Russian because we will be going in a year and a half if all goes to plan!!
We got to walk up and down the street (where J got a snowboard) and relax during an AMAZING hot stone fondue meal (four courses). And tons of winee.
The next day we went for breakfast and went shopping (I got some pj pants) and we went to the hot springs to relax for a couple hours. It was amazing.
I got to come home where we got to start making some wine. It is sitting in a giant crate in the dining room, where it will "ferment" for a month. I cannot wait to try it. It makes 30 bottles!! So it better be good!!
Then we carved pumpkins with my little brother... which turned out fairly good. I made a cute little spider that is adorable. So nice.
I cannot say it enough... I love love LOVE my boyfriend.
I don't think anything will top that experience.
