So as my readers know, I got my first subbing call yesterday. Now, I'm a secondary teacher and I was a little worried when I got a grade FOUR class, but it went sooo soo well. We did so many things: Art, Math, Library, Recess, Silent Reading, Gym, and Read-Aloud Story Time. The kids were so good for me and the day went by perfectly without a hitch.

It only further clarified how much I love teaching and how it is exactly what I want to do for the rest of my working life. It doesn't even seem like work for me anymore.

Getting that first call was unbelievable. A big thanks to V who actually recommended me to the teacher.
